About The Kansas Repository

Medication reaching the uninsured and underserved populations of Kansas. That is what The Kansas Repository is about.

Each year, thousands of Kansans go without needed medications simply because they cannot afford them. At the same time, millions of dollars of unused medications are being disposed of by medical facilities who comply with state law regarding the handling of medicines allocated to patients. Through legislation, The Kansas Repository collects, manages and distributes hundreds of thousands of prescribed medications that would otherwise be destroyed to “safety net clinics” in the state. This allows uninsured Kansans access to medications they would not have.

People helping people is what The Kansas Repository is all about.
