Information for Clinics

Federally Qualified Health Centers and indigent health care clinics across the state help the uninsured and underserved residents of Kansas get the medical care they need. As the number of medically indigent residents continues to rise, the need for these “safety-net clinics” will become greater and greater. The Kansas Repository distributes much needed medications to these clinics through the Unused Medications Act so they can pass them on to patients in need.

Each qualifying center or clinic that would like to participate in the unused medications program and receive medications from The Kansas Repository should submit a Notification of Intent to Participate form to the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy. They are also asked to submit a Repository Registration form to The Kansas Repository. Both forms as well as information on regulations and requirements are available for download below. If you would like more information about becoming a participating clinic, visit our Contact page and contact the Repository Coordinator.
