Information for Donors

Adult care homes, mail service pharmacies and medical care facilities are the cornerstone of The Kansas Repository. Through the Unused Medications Act, they are able to donate unused medications to The Kansas Repository who then redistribute them to Federally Qualified Health Centers and indigent health care clinics throughout the state. With their help, no Kansan will have to choose between buying food for their family or having a prescription filled.

Each administrator or operator of an adult care home, pharmacist-in-charge of a mail service pharmacy, and administrator of a medical care facility who would like to participate and become a donating entity should submit a Notification of Intent to Participate form to the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy. They are also asked to submit a Repository Registration form to The Kansas Repository. Both forms, as well as information on regulations and requirements, are available for download below. If you would like more information on becoming a donating facility, visit our Contact page and contact the Repository Coordinator.
